Metro Mitts Separate Subway Riders From Germs

Plastic gloves called Metro Mitts are being handed to New York City subway riders to protect from germs on railings in stations and trains. While the company aims to sell advertising on the back of mitts, Tim Minton says cynical straphangers first have to want to wear the gloves. MTA officials, who run the subways, are concerned about discarded mitts littering stations.
